An Introduction

I've lately had some friends tell me I do a bit of writing.  It's been years since I wrote any fiction, and I had assumed that I'd lost the knack.  Fortunately, or unfortunately, CCP has instituted a contest to write fanfiction for their sci-fi universe of New Eden, the setting for EVE Online.

EVE Online is the best MMO ever.  I don't have a huge amount of time to devote to it, but I do love it to pieces.

So, this contest seemed like a low-risk way to try my hand at authorship once more.  The absolute worst I can produce will be merely typical fanfiction.  And that's how this blog got started: I needed a place to post my short story for the contest.  I don't know if it will go anywhere from there.
